Why Canadian overlap matters
Canadian investors often hold a one-ticket all-equity ETF (XEQT or VEQT) alongside a US S&P 500 sleeve (VFV or similar). On paper that is two funds. In practice, US mega-caps can appear in every sleeve, pushing true US technology exposure well above a simple allocation chart.
The main ETF overlap checker supports US-listed tickers today (VOO, QQQ, SCHD, and similar). This hub collects Canadian-specific guides and pair pages for investors on the TSX. European UCITS funds live in the separate UCITS overlap hub.
Dataset: These Canadian pair pages use licensed full holdings from third-party data feeds (exchange-qualified symbols such as XEQT.TO and VEQT.TO), with the same quality gates as Guardfolio's US overlap research: provider weights near 100% and at least 97% retained coverage. The US ETF catalog is unchanged.
